It strikes me as pretty naive. Is that the case?. Or is it because noone really wants to be told they are wrong these days, meaning contraian opinions not allowed. That is what I will never understand the idea these past few years that if you don't agree with my POV, then you are wrong! People cannot have any intelligent discourse on any given topic anymore? I'm not sure Robert, but the censorship cancel culture appears to be spreading online. Having free opinions is one of the key experiences in being free. Being able to talk about different perspective used to be fun and not toxic.
Social media echo bubbles seem to have conditioned us to prefer confirmation bias, where our intellectual and moral values are protected from contrary forces. It's a consequence itself of behavior modification at scale due to Silicon Valley algorithms. We traded Ad profits for a few companies with our freedom at scale and our intellectual honesty.
I think that's a problem for the future of the internet at large. My job is to get more people viewing my Newsletters, but I cannot do so if I'm blocked on social media, I cannot earn a livelihood if the platforms themselves are toxic and where censorship exists to this level. My ideas are after all, not very radical.
Wow I heard it was pretty awful out there in "Toxic" land but not the way you characterize it. I would love to help in any way I can. I count myself as a strategic thinker and open to both sides of an argument/discussion with facts, "not fake news"Right now I only write for sanctions blogs and presentations for Crypto regulations etc at online FinCrime forums. I am even on a panel live in NYC in May? If you need someone to assist in researching a specific topic I would do it free of charge if you wish just for exposure for now
I appreciate that Rob. For now I guess I'll just focus more on the writing aspect and less on the marketing funnel. It's difficult to juggle everything as it is.
Understood btw I finally had a good interview with an outfit I acquired my first Crypto certificate Blockchain Intelligence Group, for a Director Regaulatory Affairs role. I have been trying to pivot to thie Crypto realm since March of 2020. I would be sort of their Crypto Ambassador travelling,training in the states, and possibly overseas. Sounds like my dream job Well talk soon. And I know you are a busy individual but I would love to chat about "World Peace" (just kidding) in the future
That's very cool! I used to write for blockchain startups but realized many of them were scams and fraudulent and felt that it wasn't entirely ethical trying to help them in their marketing. Sadly it was a dead-end for me.
I didn't find it so scandalous, though crypto enthusiasts on Reddit apparently can't take different perspectives or how the global elite have hijacked their supposed ideological movement.
It's unfortunate all of this is so easy to manipulate at this point.
Well higher oil prices are all but guaranteed if you listen to most of the analysts. So it will be interesting to watch, just how Bitcoin is used now by regimes and the ultra one percent is also highly predictable at this point Rob imho.
I got banned on Reddit for sharing this post. If we don't live in an era of censorship I don't know what we live in. If you can be spam reported and an AI can auto-ban you, what is the point of stating facts in an echo chamber?
Where is the free speech Reddit? If crypto bulls can't even read or entertain facts that contradicts their narrative, then censorship in the name of crypto is alive and well.
With my Reddit account I was managing multiple subreddits that help me do my research in areas unrelated to crypto like Quantum computing and A.I. This is how I make my living, this is how I eat.
