Hello Everyone,
This is an announcement about the future of this Newsletter. Unfortunately not enough people signed up for the paid version of AI Startups and Funding, so this Newsletter is going to pivot into deep dives around the Semiconductor and AI chip industry with a focus on Taiwan.
I will still blog about AI startups and funding on this Newsletter however on occasion. If you are a paid subscriber please unsubscribe and carefully evaluate if you want to support me going forward and this may not align with your interests.
I’m having to pivot my Newsletter strategy to survive as a writer on the future of technology. Ultimately it’s my readers who decide which direction I go. Buying a domain on whim is risky, but these are geopolitically sensitive times and there’s an odd urgency here in the space.
Why AI Chips and Semiconductor Industry?
With connections to Taiwan, I feel it’s important to tell more of TSMC and related stories as I learn about this space with my readers.
Semiconductor Reports ™ is born out at a time of much semiconductor and datacenter geopolitical upheaval, investment and expansion. It’s an exciting period that I want to more fully cover.
This is also due to the success of my recent entry into the Semiconductor Newsletter space, namely:
So the idea here is one is a lower tier rundown of weekly news and this one is more occasional but deep dive reports that are highly valuable. The difference is a $5 to a $19-20 price range.
Semiconductor Things (more rundown style and current affairs)
Semiconductor Reports (higher tier deep dives, more hours of research on my part)
So there you have it, I’m branching out from emerging tech and AI into more the more datacenter and AI chip complex semiconductor space.
For those of you interested in emerging tech, I’m trying to create a platform of Newsletters that’s informative and helps you invest in thinking more about the future.
What kinds of articles?
The cadence and post frequency is yet to be determined, but likely won’t be that often, given the effort involved in each piece.
