Hey Everyone,

Quora’s Poe is a chatbot service that gives users the ability to chat with a range of chatbots developed by different companies.

Just a small note, Poe.com an incredible accessibility gateway to chatbots has got some added funding. Oddly by a16z (one of the main funders of Substack):

Adam D'Angelo on X said:

We are excited to announce that Quora has raised $75M from Andreessen Horowitz. This funding will be used to accelerate the growth of Poe, and we expect the majority of it to be used to pay bot creators through our recently-launched creator monetization program.

A bit like OpenAI’s GPT to launch this week, Quora is trying to develop its own subset of the creator economy based around AI chatbots. So, instead of a creator making a living from YouTube ad revenue, they can try to pay the bills by building interesting AI bots.

Quora raised $75M specifically for Poe.
